(eNews.pk) - Cuba: A hummingbird is a beautiful bird weighing more than two grams. This bird has been named the world's smallest bird.




It is something bigger than a bee and that's why it is named as a hummingbird. The size of one of its eggs is similar to that of a coffee seed and is found only in Cuba.


Its diet consists of flower juice and small insects, and during flight it looks like a flying insect. Experts say the reason for its shortest size is a quality known as the island's dwarfism or island dwarfism. Evolutionary animals on an island suffer from a shortage of food and resources, and in millions of years they are slowly becoming smaller than other species. This way to avoid being completely eradicated can be seen in many animals.

یہ مکھی سے بھی بڑی چیز ہے اور اسی وجہ سے اس کو ہمنگ برڈ کا نام دیا گیا ہے۔ اس کے ایک انڈے کا سائز کافی کے بیج کی طرح ہے
اس کی غذا پھولوں کے رس اور چھوٹے کیڑوں پر مشتمل ہوتی ہے ، اور پرواز کے دوران یہ ایک اڑتے کیڑے کی طرح دکھائی دیتی ہے۔ ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ اس کے سب سے کم قد کی وجہ ایک جز ہے جو جزیرے کے بونے کی طرح یا جزیرے کے بونے کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے۔ جزیرے پر ارتقائی جانور خوراک اور وسائل کی کمی کا شکار ہیں ، اور لاکھوں سالوں میں وہ آہستہ آہستہ دوسری نسلوں سے چھوٹے ہوتے جارہے ہیں۔ بہت سے جانوروں میں مکمل طور پر مٹ جانے سے بچنے کا یہ طریقہ دیکھا جاسکتا ہے۔
