Tribal jirga to be trusted, Maulana Fazlur Rehman

(eNews.pk) - Dera Ismail Khan: Jamait Ulema-i-Islam-FAZLE (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the ongoing operation of the Pakistani army's tribal district of the country was a question mark over the independence, dignity and lives of the tribal people, Geo news reported Tuesday.




Talking to media after the formation of 40 members to maintain peace Jirga FATA and FR, he said the government and the military establishment should repose confidence in the tribal Jirga.
Maulana said that the military operation in the tribal areas would not help solve the problem.
He said that the Jirga to enter into force, the government and security forces to be able to trust.

ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان … مولانا فضل الرحمان کا کہنا ہے کہ قبائلی علاقوں میں فوج کی مستقل عملداری قبائلی عوام کی آزادی، عزت اور زندگی پر سوالیہ نشان ہے، حکومت اور عسکری قوتیں قبائلی علاقوں میں قیام امن کے حوالے سے جرگہ کی کوششوں پر اعتماد کریں۔ وہ ڈیرہ اسماعیل خان میں فاٹا اور ایف آر میں قیام امن کیلئے تشکیل دیئے گئے 40 رکنی جرگہ کے بعد میڈیا سے گفت گو کررہے ہیں۔ مولانا فضل الرحمان نے کہا ہے کہ قبائلی علاقوں میں فوجی آپریشن سے مسائل حل نہیں ہوں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ قبائلی مشران پر مشتمل جرگہ کو اس قابل بنایا جائے گا کہ حکومت اور عسکری قوتیں قبائلی علاقوں میں قیام امن کے حوالے سے ان کی کوششوں پر اعتماد کریں ۔
