یوٹیلٹی اسٹورز کارپوریشن کو چیئرمین ای سی سی کی جانب سے مزید ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ کورونا کی وجہ سے اور رمضان المبارک کے قریب مہینے کے دوران ملک میں موجودہ صورتحال کے پیش نظر لوگوں کو کم قیمتوں پر ضروری اشیاء کی فراہمی کو یقینی بنائے۔ روپے ضروری سامان کی خریداری کے لئے دسمبر 2019 کے بعد یو ایس سی کو 21 بلین پہلے ہی بانٹ دیئے گئے ہیں اور منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر یو ایس سی نے ای سی سی کو یقین دلایا کہ وہ ضرورت کی اس گھڑی میں لوگوں کو سستی سامان کی فراہمی کے لئے اپنی مارکیٹ کی موجودگی کو موثر انداز میں بروئے کار لا رہی ہے۔

رمضان ریلیف پیکیج بھی اس گرانٹ کا ایک حصہ ہے ، جو 17 اپریل سے نافذ ہوگا۔ حکومت یو ایس سی میں رعایتی نرخوں پر کھانے پینے کی اشیائے ضروریہ فراہم کرے گی۔ وزیر اعظم کے مشیر برائے خزانہ اور محصولات نے ای سی سی کے اجلاس کی صدارت کی۔
