Sindh police recommend bike riding ban till ashura

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Additional Inspector General (AIG) Sindh, Iqbal Mehmood said police had recommended to the federal government to impose a ban on cycling until Ashura, Geo news.




Talking to media after explosion Imambargah Karachi on Sunday, AIG said it had asked the Home Secretary to ban motorcycle riding to Ashura.
Meanwhile, speaking of "Geo news via telephone, Inspector General of Police Sindh Fayyaz Laghari said it was a remote-controlled bomb planted on a motorcycle in the city of Abbas.
He said that due to strict security measures in Imambargah the accused could not get there and parked the bike near him.

کراچی … آئی جی سندھ فیاض لغاری کا کہنا ہے کہ کراچی میں موٹر سائیکل کے ذریعے ریموٹ کنٹرول بم دھماکا کیا گیا، ایڈیشنل آئی جی کا کہنا ہے کہ وفاقی حکومت کو عاشورہ تک موٹر سائیکل پر پابندی کی سفارش کی ہے۔ جیو نیوز سے ٹیلی فونک گفتگو کرتے ہوئے آئی جی سندھ فیاض لغاری کا کہنا ہے کہ کراچی کے علاقے عباس ٹاوٴن میں بم موٹر سائیکل میں نصب کیا گیا تھا، جسے کچھ ہی دیر پہلے علاقے میں کھڑا کیا گیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دھماکا ریموٹ کنٹرول کے ذریعے کیا گیا، امام بارگاہ کی سیکیورٹی سخت تھی اسلئے ملزم قریب نہ جاسکا۔ ایڈیشنل آئی جی سندھ اقبال محمود کا کہنا ہے کہ وفاقی وزیر داخلہ رحمان ملک سے سفارش کی ہے کہ عاشورہ تک موٹر سائیکل چلانے پر پابندی لگادی جائے۔
