Sindh High Court dismissed the petition

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: After the importer of Australian sheep withdrew his case against the culling of more than 21,000 animals on his farm on Thursday the process of removal of the infected sheep has resumed Friday, Geo news reported.




The importer, Tariq Mehmood Butt, had earlier sought a stay order of the Sindh High Court (SHC) against the culling of the herd. He had challenged the report of the Sindh Poultry Vaccine Centre, which was the basis on which authorities ordered the killing of his sheep.
Under the guidance of the staff Deputy Commissioner's Malir, the process of slaughtering the sheep is underway, while 200 security guards of Razzakabad Polcie traning Center are deployed for security.
Sources said that 11,306 of the sick sheep will be removed after slaughter.

کراچی… آسٹریلوی بھیڑوں کی تلفی کے خلاف سندھ ہائیکورٹ سے درخواست خارج ہونے پر آسٹریلوی بھیڑوں کو تلف کرنے کا عمل دوبارہ شروع کر دیا گیا ہے۔ڈپٹی کمشنر ملیر کے عملے کی زیرنگرانی بھیڑیں ذبح کی جارہی ہیں،رزاق آباد پولیس ٹریننگ سینٹر کے 200 جوان سیکیورٹی پر مامورہیں ۔ آسٹریلیا سے 21 ہزار بھیڑ یں درآمد کی گئیں تھیں جس کے بعدسندھ ہائی کورٹ میں بھیڑوں کی تلفی کیخلاف درخواست دی گئی تھی تاہم گزشتہ روز بھیڑوں کے مالک طارق بٹ کی جانب سے تلفی کیخلاف درخواست واپس لے لی گئی جس کے بعد رات گئے ڈی سی آفس ملیر نے بھیڑوں کو ذبح کرنے کیلئے قصائیوں کو طلب کیا اور تلف کرنے کا عمل دوبارہ شروع کر دیا گیا۔ذرئع کے مطابق 11 ہزار 306 بھیڑوں کو ذبح کرکے تلف کیا جائیگا۔
