Shab-e-Meraj observed with religious zeal

(eNews.pk) - LAHORE: Shab-e-Meraj, the night when the Holy Prophet (SAW), had ascended to the highest levels of heaven on Sunday evening has been observed throughout the country with the traditional religious devotion and fervor.

A large number of faithful offered special prayers in mosques throughout the night and into specially decorated their homes to seek the blessings of Allah Almighty. They asked for special prayers from Almighty seek the welfare of the whole nation and the Ummah, and liberation from all sorts of problems and tribulations.

Lailat-al-Meraj also known as Shab-e-Meraj is a glorious night, marking the Isra and Meraj of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) when he was taken from Mecca to Al-Haram Al-Sharif, within al-Aqsa Mosque (also known as the Temple Mount) and was then taken to heaven. Several Islamic organizations and socio-cultural and organized special prayers Mehfils-e-Naat in mosques and other places to look collectively blessings of the Almighty.

کراچي. . . . ملک بھر ميں شب معراج انتہائي عقيدت و احترام سے منائي گئي.مساجد ميں نوافل ادا کيے گئے اور ملک کي سلامتي اور خوش ستائيس رجب کي شب سرور کونين کو مسجد الحرام سے مسجد اقصي? تک اور عرش اعظم کي سير کرائي گئي،اسي رات امت مسلمہ کو نماز پنجگانہ کا تحفہ عطا کيا گيا.شب معراج کي مناسبت سے ملک بھر کي مساجد کو برقي قمقموں سے سجايا گيا تھا.مسجدوں ميں خصوصي عبادات کا اہتمام کيا گيا.نوافل ادا کيے گئے اور علمائے کرام نے واقعہ معراج پر روشني ڈالي.مختلف مقامات پر نعت خواني کي محفليں بھي سجائي گئيں. ذکرو اذکار کا يہ سلسلہ رات بھر جاري رہا.اس موقع پر امت مسلمہ کے اتحاد اور ملک ميں امن و امان کے قيام اور سلامتي کے ليے خصوصي دعائيں کي گئيں.
