SC will hear fake degree case today

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to hear the suo moto notice of media reports about fake degrees 54 members today (Monday).




According to media reports, Universities Commission (HEC) in its report said the number of degrees 54 former members as false. It said that 189 MPs received their degrees verified by the HEC cases while 19 more were deputies to the lower courts.
The Chief Justice of the notice of media reports claimed messages from ECP and HEC.

اسلام آباد…چیف جسٹس پاکستان نے 54 سابق ارکان پارلیمنٹ کی جعلی ڈگریوں سے متعلق خبروں کاازخود نوٹس لیتے ہوئے سیکریٹری الیکشن کمیشن اور چیرمین ہائرایجوکیشن کمیشن کوآج طلب کرلیا ہے۔ چیف جسٹس کی سربراہی میں تین رکنی بنچ مقدمے کی سماعت کریگا۔ ہائرایجوکیشن کمیشن نے اپنی رپورٹ میں کہا ہے کہ 54 سابق ارکان پارلیمنٹ کی ڈگریاں جعلی تھیں۔ ایچ ای سی رپورٹ کے مطابق 189 ارکان پارلیمنٹ نے اپنی ڈگریوں کی تصدیق نہیں کروائی جبکہ 19 ارکان پارلیمنٹ کی جعلی ڈگریوں سے متعلق کیسز ماتحت عدالتوں میں چل رہے ہیں۔
