Salman & Asif cleared to play domestic cricket

(eNews.pk) - Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif will play the domestic one-day cup at the start of the new year. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif will play the domestic cricket. The players were cleared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to return to the sport on 2nd September after serving five-year bans for bowling no-balls to order during a Test match in England in 2010. But the PCB put in place a six-month rehabilitation program before the duo could feature in top-flight domestic cricket.

پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ نے محمد عامر کے بعد اسپاٹ فکسنگ اسکینڈل میں سزا یافتہ کرکٹر سلمان بٹ اور محمد آصف کو بھی ڈومیسٹک کرکٹ کھیلنے کی اجازت دے دی ہے۔ پی سی بی نے محمد عامر کے بعد اسپاٹ فکسنگ میں سزا پانے والے کرکٹرز سلمان بٹ اور محمد آصف کو بھی ڈومیسٹک کرکٹ کھیلنے کی اجازت دے دی ہے۔ پی سی بی حکام کے مطابق دونوں کرکٹرز نوجوان کرکٹرز کو لیکچرز دینے کا پروگرام مکمل کر چکے ہیں اس لئے اب دونوں ڈومیسٹک کرکٹ میں شرکت کر سکتے ہیں۔ دونوں کرکٹرز 12 جنوری سے کراچی میں شروع ہونے والے نیشنل ون ڈے ٹورنامنٹ میں واپڈا کی نمائندگی کریں گے۔
