Parliament's supremacy wish fulfilled

(eNews.pk) - LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said it was important for the assembly to complete its five-year term, not the prime minister.

Gilani was speaking to the media upon arrival at the airport in Lahore for the first time since the disqualification. "My desire for the supremacy of Parliament, has been fulfilled," said Gilani.
Gilani said his dream of leaving the Prime Minister House grace became a reality.

Yusuf Raza Gilani, was disqualified as prime minister of the Supreme Court. Former prime minister was convicted of the apex court for contempt for not writing a letter to Swiss authorities seeking to reopen corruption cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

لاہور… سابق وزيراعظم يوسف رضا گيلاني نے کہاہے کہ وزيراعظم آتے جاتے رہتے ہيں، اسمبلي کومدت پوري کرني چاہئے.ان کي خواہش تھي کہ وہ باوقار طريقے سے وزارتِ عظمي? کا عہدہ چھوڑيں، ان کي يہ خواہش پوري ہو گئي ہے. يوسف رضا گيلاني وزارتِ عظمي? سے ہٹائے جانے کے بعد پہلي بار لاہور پہنچنے پرايئرپورٹ پرميڈيا سے گفتگو کر رہے تھے. انہوں نے کہاکہ وزيراعظم آتے جاتے رہتے ہيں ،وہ چاہتے تھے کہ جب بھي جائيں،باوقارطريقے سے جائيں،يوسف رضاگيلاني نے مزيد کہا کہ وہ پارليمنٹ کي بالادستي چاہتے تھے، ان کي يہ خواہش بھي پوري ہوگئي.
