Official mourning day being observed in Sindh

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: A day of official mourning is being observed today (Monday) in the loss of lives in a bomb explosion that took place in the region of Abbas Town in the city.




Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah said on Monday, while observing official day of mourning following a high intensity bomb killed 45 people and injured more than 140 others in the city Abbas Sunday evening.
According to the official announcement, the national flags will remain at half-mast on all government buildings while the Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf also canceled all official engagements and directed the local administration to actively participate in relief activities.

کراچی…سانحہ عباس ٹاوٴن کیخلاف یوم سوگ پر سندھ اسمبلی سمیت دیگرسرکاری عمارتوں پرقومی پرچم سرنگوں ہے جبکہ کراچی شہرمیں پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ معمول سے کم ہے۔ مختلف علاقوں میں پیٹرول پمپ،مارکیٹیں اوردکانیں بندہیں،جبکہ شہرکے تمام تعلیمی ادارے بند ہیں۔دھماکے کے خلاف سندھ کے مختلف شہروں میں بھی احتجاج کیا گیا ہے۔ کراچی کے علاقے عباس ٹاؤن میں ہونے والے دھماکے میں جاں بحق افراد کی تعداد45ہوچکی ہے جبکہ 140سے زا ئدافرادزخمی ہو ئے ہیں جبکہ دھماکے سے2رہائشی عمارتوں کو بھی شدید نقصان پہنچا۔
