No Electricity Loadshedding On Eid Occasion

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: The government has decided not LoadShedding will be held on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (October 26 to 29).




The Ministry of Water and Energy has expressed the hope that there would be a reduction in electricity demand during Eid holidays due to industrial activities that come to rest and the closure of government offices.
There will be a smaller gap between the demand for electricity and irrigation will be met by the operation of the latent power houses, he added.
Officials also said the deficit has reduced to almost 3000 MW as a result of climatic temperature drop across the country.

اسلام آباد … حکومت نے عید الاضحی پر ملک بھر میں بجلی کی لوڈشیڈنگ نہ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ وزارتِ پانی و بجلی حکام نے امید ظاہر کی ہے کہ عیدالاضحی کے موقع پر سرکاری اور غیر سرکاری دفاتر بند اور صنعتی سرگرمیاں نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے بجلی کی طلب میں کمی آئے گی، اس لئے طلب اور رسد میں کوئی خاص فرق نہیں رہے گا، اس کے باوجود جو شارٹ فال رہ گیا، اسے بند پاور ہاوٴسز چلا کر پورا کر لیا جائے گا۔ حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ موسم بہتر ہونے سے عام دنوں میں بھی بجلی کا شارٹ فال 3 ہزار میگاواٹ کے لگ بھگ آگیا ہے۔
