MQM announced today mourn, transport will not stop

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has announced a day of mourning throughout Sindh on Friday (today) against the killing of its candidate, workers and office bearers, Geo news reported.




Coordination Committee of MQM said that black flags were hoisted. It is said that the transport would not have been suspended, while other businesses would also remain open during the peaceful day of mourning.
It is said that MQM candidate Fakhrul Islam and other party workers were killed, but the caretaker government took no action. In a statement, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that the bloodshed of the MQM workers continued despite several assurances from the government. He asked about what steps have been taken to stop the killings.

کراچی…متحدہ قومی موومنٹ کی رابطہ کمیٹی نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ نامزد امیدواروں، کارکنوں اور عہدے داروں کے قتل کے مسلسل واقعات کے خلاف آج کراچی سمیت سندھ بھر میں پْرامن یوم سوگ منایا جائے گا۔ الطاف حسین نے کہا ہے کہ اگر ایم کیو ایم قتل پر احتجاجی مظاہرے کرتی ہے تو الیکشن پر کیا اثر پڑے گا؟ رابطہ کمیٹی نے واضح کیا ہے کہ یوم سوگ کے موقع پرصرف سیاہ جھنڈے لہرائے جائیں گے اور کسی قسم کی ٹرانسپورٹ یا کاروبار بند نہیں ہوگا۔ رابطہ کمیٹی نے کہا کہ حیدرآباد سے حق پرست امیدوار فخرالااسلام اور دیگر5 کارکنوں کو شہید کیا جا چکا ہے۔ ایم کیوایم کے احتجاج کے باوجود کارکنوں اور ہمدردوں کے جان ومال کے تحفظ کے لیے نگراں حکومت اورسیکورٹی اداروں نے کوئی اقدام نہیں کیا۔ الطاف حسین نے ایک بیان میں کہا کہ حکومتی یقین دہانیوں کے باوجودکارکنوں کے قتل کاسلسلہ جاری ہے۔ نگراں حکومت اور الیکشن کمیشن جواب دیں کہ قتل عام روکنے کیلئے کیاکررہے ہیں؟
