Mansoor Ijaz has ridiculed commission: Bukhari
(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: The lawyer of Hussain Haqqani former ambassador to US, Zahid Hussain Bukhari said Mansoor Ijaz has ridiculed the commission by not appearing before it despite promising twice, Geo news reported.

While arriving for the hearing at the Islamabad High Court (IHC), he said there is no justification in recording Mansoor Ijaz's statement abroad and will ask the commission to forfeit his right to testify.

The counsel said he will approach the Supreme Court if not satisfied with the commission.

اسلام آباد… ميموگيٹ کيس ميں حسين حقاني کے وکيل زاہد بخاري نے کہا ہے کہ اس کيس کے مرکزي کردار منصور اعجاز نے کہا تھا کہ وہ ہر صورت 24جنوري تک پاکستان ميں حاضر ہوجائينگے ليکن اب نئے بہانے تراشے گئے ہيں. کميشن سے وعدہ کر کے نہ آنا کميشن کي توہين ہے. انہوں نے کہا کہ اب اس بات کا کوئي قانوني جواز نہيں کہ منصور اعجاز جس کميشن کي دو مرتبہ توہين کرچکا، متعدد مواقع ضائع کر چکا، کميشن اس کا بيان لينے ملک سے باہر جائے. ايک سوال کے جواب ميں انہوں نے کہا کہ اميد ہے کميشن انصاف کے مطابق فيصلہ کرے گا، تاہم اگر کميشن سے مطمئن نہ ہوئے تو سپريم کورٹ سے رجوع کريں گے.
