Karachi: Rangers operation in Landhi: 14 arrested

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Fourteen accused one of them most wanted arrested in a police search operation in Landhi on Wednesday here, Geo news.




Police said the search operation was launched based on information that several suspects were present in their hideouts in Landhi 89 that the raids resulted in the arrest of 14 defendants from which weapons were also recovered.
A strong contingent of 500 police commandos, including women, the police involved in the operation.
SSP East, Imran Shaukat speaks to the media said that the traffic police have arrested the most wanted accused Hanif alias Chitta. He also claimed that there is no "no-go" area in the eastern zone.

کراچی…کراچی کے علاقے لانڈھی میں پولیس نے سرچ آپریشن کرکے ایک انتہائی مطلوب ملزم سمیت 14 ملزمان کو گرفتار کیا ہے۔پولیس کے مطابق لانڈھی کے علاقے 89 میں مشتبہ افراد کی موجودگی کی اطلاع پر پولیس نے سرچ آپریشن کیا،جس کے دوران مشتبہ افراد کے ٹھکانوں پر چھاپے مار کر 14 ملزمان کو گرفتار کرلیاگیا۔ ملزمان کے قبضے سے اسلحہ بھی برآمد کیا گیا ہے۔ آپریشن میں پولیس کمانڈوز اور خواتین پولیس اہلکار سمیت 500 جوانوں نے حصہ لیا۔ ایس ایس پی ایسٹ عمران شوکت نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ آپریشن کے دوران پولیس نے انتہائی مطلوب ملزم حنیف عرف چٹا کو بھی گرفتار کیا ہے۔ایس ایس پی ایسٹ عمران شوکت نے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ ایسٹ زون میں کوئی نوگوایریا نہیں ہے۔
