اس کا اعلان وفاقی وزیر برائے منصوبہ بندی و ترقیات اسد عمر نے کیا ، وزیر اعظم کے معاون صحت ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا اور قومی سلامتی معید یوسف نے ، کوویڈ 19 میں قومی رابطہ کمیٹی (این سی سی) کے اجلاس میں شرکت کے بعد ایک نیوز کانفرنس میں خطاب کیا۔ بدھ کے روز اسلام آباد میں۔

وزیر منصوبہ بندی نے بتایا کہ بیرون ملک مقیم پھنسے ہوئے پاکستانیوں کو 4 اپریل کو پی آئی اے کی خصوصی پرواز میں وطن واپس لایا جائے گا۔ مسافروں کا پہلا تجربہ کیا جائے گا اور انہیں قرنطین کے لئے بھیجا جائے گا تاکہ اس بات کا یقین کیا جاسکے کہ وہ کورونا وائرس نہیں پھیلاتے ہیں۔

عمر نے بتایا کہ پہلے مرحلے میں ، بین الاقوامی پروازیں اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ سے دوبارہ کراچی کے بعد شروع ہوں گی۔

انہوں نے کہا ، "ملک بھر میں لاک ڈاؤن پھل پھیل رہا ہے کیونکہ اگر بروقت روک تھام کے اقدامات نہ اٹھائے جاتے تو معاملات کی تعداد بہت زیادہ ہوتی۔"
