Gilani decided to appeal against disqualification

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a joint session of parliament to approve imposition of the Governor of Balochistan on February 6, Geo news reported Friday.




According to a statement issued by the presidency, the president has convened the session on Feb. 6 at 5:00 pm.
Previously, the Federal Ministry of Justice and Parliamentary Affairs sent a summary to the President to convene a joint session of parliament.
Governor Rule was imposed in the southwestern province of the country by President invoking Article 234 of the Constitution.
Justice Minister Farooq Naik told reporters that the joint session of the Senate and the National Assembly will meet on the agenda of a point in an announcement of the imposition of governor rule present Baluchistan.
The announcement of the imposition of governor rule is required to be submitted to the joint session in two months, according to the Constitution.

ملتان … سابق وزیراعظم یوسف رضا گیلانی نے اپنی انتخابی نااہلی اور سزا کے خلاف سپریم کورٹ میں اپیل دائر کرنے کا فیصلہ کرلیا، ان کا کہنا ہے کہ اس حوالے سے قانونی مشیروں سے صلح مشورہ کررہا ہوں۔ سابق وزیراعظم یوسف رضا گیلانی نے عدالت عظمیٰ کی جانب سے نااہلی اور سزا کے خلاف آج سپریم کورٹ میں اپیل دائر کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق یوسف رضا گیلانی اپنی نااہلی اور سزا کے خلاف اپیل دائر کرنے کیلئے آج خود سپریم کورٹ میں پیش ہوں گے۔ سابق وزیراعظم کا کہنا ہے کہ سپریم کورٹ کی جانب سے سزا اور نااہلی کے خلاف قانونی مشیروں سے صلح مشورہ کررہا ہوں۔ واضح رہے کہ سپریم کورٹ نے اس سے قبل یوسف رضا گیلانی کی نااہلی اور سزا کے خلاف دائر کی گئی درخواست واپس کردی تھی۔
