Drone attack in North Waziristan, toll reaches 5

(eNews.pk) - Miranshah: At least five people were killed Wednesday in an attack by U.S. drone in North Waziristan.




Sources say a drone fired two missiles at a compound in Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan area as a result of which five people died and there was a fire on the premises.
Locals in the area have begun relief efforts, while sources said that after the attack drones were circling the area.
Wednesday's strike was the third by U.S. drone Miranshah in the area of this month. On October 11 to 18 insurgents, reportedly mostly Afghans, were killed in a drone attack in the nearby Orakzai tribal region in the deadliest attack in more than a year.

وانا … شمالی وزیرستان میں جاسوس طیارے کے حملے میں مرنے والوں کی تعداد 5 ہوگئی ہے۔ تحصیل میر علی میں ایک گھر پر جاسوس طیارے سے 2 میزائل فائر کئے گئے جس کے نتیجے میں گھر میں آگ لگ گئی اور 3 افراد موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہوگئے، ملبے سے مزید 2 افراد کی لاشیں بھی ملیں جس کے بعد ہلاک ہونے والوں کی تعداد 5 ہوگئی، مرنے والوں میں ایک خاتون بھی شامل ہے۔ مقامی افراد نے امدادی کارروائیاں شروع کردی ہیں۔ ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ اب بھی علاقے میں جاسوس طیاروں کی پروازیں جاری ہے۔
