Dr. Qadri arrives SC to argue his own case

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Dr. Qadri Tahirul Monday morning came to the Supreme Court to argue his petition for reconstitution of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), scheduled the apex court to take little here, Geo news.




Three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed will hear the case.
In view of the importance and urgency of this national event has been placed on the number of series one.
Minhajul Tahrik-e-Quran (Koran) 's Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri is of the opinion that the ECP was formed unconstitutional.
Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also supported the position of Dr. Qadri in ECP and called for changing existing provincial election commissioners.

اسلام آباد…سپریم کورٹ میں الیکشن کمیشن کی تشکیل نو کے لیے ڈاکٹر طاہر القادری کی درخواست کی سماعت آج ہو رہی ہے۔ طاہر القادری خود دلائل دینے سپریم کورٹ پہنچ گئے ہیں۔درخواست کی سماعت چیف جسٹس کی سربراہی میں تین رکنی بنچ کرے گا۔بنچ جسٹس افتخار محمد چوہدری، جسٹس گلزار احمد اور جسٹس شیخ عظمت سعید پر مشتمل ہے۔ سپلیمنٹری کاز لسٹ میں اس کیس کو سیریل نمبر ون پر رکھا گیا ہے، الیکشن کمیشن پر عدم اعتماد کی درخواست تحریک منہاج القران کے سربراہ ڈاکٹر طاہر القادری نے دائر کی ہے اور وہ خود ہی اس پر دلائل دیں گے۔ طاہر القادری کا موقف ہے کہ الیکشن کمیشن کی تشکیل غیر آئینی ہے۔ طاہرالقادری کے اس موقف کی تائید تحریک انصاف بھی کرچکی ہے اور اس کی جانب سے بھی صوبائی الیکشن کمشنرز کو تبدیل کرنے کا مطالبہ سامنے آچکا ہے۔
