Dr Imran Farooq probe: SY combs house in London

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: ScotlandYard (SY) has moved forward in their investigation of the murder case of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq.




Dr. Imran Farooq was stabbed to death by unknown assailants in front of his residence in central London on 16 September 2010.
To the investigation of a murder mystery further ahead, counter-terrorism command ScotlandYard on Tuesday searched a residential building in a posh locality in London, SY officials told Geo TV London correspondent Murtaza Ali Shah.
However, no arrests made ​​in today's search warrant, officials said, adding assistance was also taken from CCTV footage.
Murder probe will be conducted with the help of seven CCTV footage along with other evidence, they said.
According to the London police that as many as 85,870 documents were also reviewed, while interviews with eight people so far have been made in connection with the investigation.

لندن… ڈاکٹرعمران فاروق قتل کیس کی تحقیقات میں پیش رفت ہوئی ہے ۔بتایا جاتا ہے کہ ڈاکٹرعمران فاروق قتل کیس کی تفتیش کے سلسلے میں منگل کو لندن میں ایک گھرکی تلاشی لی گئی۔اس حوالے سے اسکاٹ لینڈیارڈکے انسداددہشت گردی کمانڈنے سرچ آپریشن کیا۔اسکاٹ لینڈیارڈ نے اس حوالے سے جیو نیوز کے رپورٹر مرتضیٰ علی کو بتایا کہ سرچ آپریشن لندن کے مہنگے رہائشی علاقے میں ایک گھرمیں کیاگیا ۔اسکاٹ لینڈ یارڈ کا کہنا ہے کہ گھرکی تلاشی لی گئی لیکن کوئی گرفتاری عمل میں نہیں آئی،سی سی ٹی وی سے بھی مددلی جارہی ہے، 7سی سی ٹی وی اوردیگرشواہدکی بنیادپرتحقیقات آگے بڑھ رہی ہیں۔ جبکہ پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ 85ہزار870دستاویزات کی جانچ پڑتال بھی کی گئی۔مزید بتایا گیا کہ ابھی تک 8افرادکاانٹرویوکیاگیا۔
