Blast near Rangers HQ, 1 killed, 14 injured

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: suicide attacker rammed his explosives-laden car into the gates No.3 Sachal Rangers headquarters is located in North Nazimabad Block B of the metropolitan area that injured 21 people Thursday morning, sources told Geo news.




According to the injured Rangers personnel, the incident happened when the explosives-laden car hit the gate of the headquarters. As a result, 21 persons including nine Rangers personnel, one policeman and a civilian were injured. There are reports that the Rangers man named Abdul Razzak were killed in the explosion.
The blast smashed glasses Rangers Headquarters pieces, but a fire broke out in one part of the building. Different wall also collapsed headquarters.
Rescue teams and ambulances reached the place of incident and started relief effort. Injured people have been shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the three are said to be in critical condition.
IG Sindh Fayyaz Leghari told Geo news that the explosion occurred when a suicide bomber hit a building with explosives-laden truck Shehzore.

کراچی. . . . نارتھ ناظم آباد میں رینجرز ہیڈکوارٹر کے دھماکے میں ایک اہلکار جاں بحق جبکہ14 افراد زخمی ہوگئے۔کراچی کے علاقے نارتھ ناظم آباد بلاک بی میں واقع رینجرز ہیڈ کوارٹر2 کے قریب ایک زور دار دھماکا ہو ا جس کے بعد عمارت کے حصے میں آگ لگنے کے باعث دھوائیں کے بادل اٹھ رہے ہیں۔دھماکے میں عمارت کا ایک حصہ تباہ ہوگیا۔امدادی کارروائیاں شروع کردی گئیں ہیں او ر14 زخمیوں کو عباسی شہید اسپتال منتقل کردیا گیا ہے۔دھماکا اتنا شدید تھا کہ دور دور تک سنا گیا۔علاقے میں موجود آس پاس عمارتوں کو بھی نقصان پہنچا ہے اور شیشے ٹوٹ گئے ہیں۔عمارت میں لگی آگ بجھانے کے لیے فائر بریگیڈ کا عملہ پہنچ گیا ہے جبکہ بم ڈسپوزل اسکواڈ کو بھی طلب کرلیا گیا ہے۔ذرائع کے مطابق دھماکا دہشت گردی کی کارروائی معلو م ہوتی ہے کیونکہ رینجرز کے اس ہیڈ کوارٹر میں کراچی کے مختلف علاقوں سے زیر حراست افراد کو یہاں رکھاجا تا ہے۔دھماکے میں زخمی ہونے والے3 افراد کی حالت نازک بتائی جارہی ہے۔
