PM attends session of British parliament

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday here attended the Joint Session of British Parliament addressed by Her Majesty the Queen.




Gilani was the only head of government who was specially invited to attend the session.
Pakistan's High Commissioner to UK Wajid Shamsul Hassan also accompanied the Prime Minister on this occasion.

لندن ... وزير اعظم يوسف رضا گيلاني نے لندن ميں برطانوي پارلے منٹ کے مشترکہ اجلاس ميں شرکت کي. برطانيہ ميں نئے پارلے ماني سال کے آغاز پر پارلے منٹ کا مشترکہ اجلاس ہوا. وزير اعظم يوسف رضا گيلاني واحد سربراہ حکومت ہيں جنہيں مشترکہ اجلاس ميں شرکت کيلئے خصوصي طور پر مدعو کيا گيا. اجلاس سے ملکہ برطانيہ نے خطاب کيا جو ملک کي آئيني سربراہ ہيں اور اور پارلے منٹ کے نئے سيشن کا باضابطہ افتتاح کرنا ان کے فرائض ميں شامل ہے. وزير اعظم کے ساتھ لندن ميں پاکستاني ہائي کمشنر واجد شمس الحسن نے بھي اجلاس ميں شرکت کي.
