Job saving is the responsibility of Govt IHC

(eNews.pk) - The Islamabad High Court has remarked that it is the government's responsibility to save people's jobs in the situation caused by the Corona virus.




Due to the Corona lockdown, the common man as well as the industry owners got into trouble. Local cement factory reached Islamabad High Court to seek relief on electricity bills and filed a petition to submit more than 700 million bills in electricity bills.


The petition contended that the cement factory was closed due to the Corona virus. The court ordered payment of three bills of electricity.


The Islamabad High Court ordered the local cement factory to pay Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) the rest of the money by ordering a 33% bill till April 15.


ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court issued a stay order and sought response from the Ministry of Energy and IESCO.


Chief Justice Athar Manullah remarked that these are the conditions in which the government should encourage everyone, the government has increased the payment history of electricity bills, it is the responsibility of the government to employ them in these situations. In order to save jobs, the court will now provide full support to the state.








لوگوں کی نوکریاں بچانا حکومت کا فرض ہے اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ


اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ نے ریمارکس دیئے ہیں کہ کورونا وائرس سے پیدا ہونے والی صورتحال میں لوگوں کی ملازمتوں کو بچانا حکومت کی ذمہ داری ہے۔

کورونا لاک ڈاؤن کی وجہ سے عام آدمی نیز انڈسٹری مالکان بھی مشکل میں پڑ گئے۔ مقامی سیمنٹ فیکٹری بجلی بلوں سے ریلیف لینے اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ پہنچی اور بجلی کے بلوں میں 700 ملین سے زائد بل جمع کروانے کے لئے درخواست دائر کردی۔

درخواست میں مؤقف اختیار کیا گیا ہے کہ سیمنٹ فیکٹری کورونا وائرس کی وجہ سے بند تھی۔ عدالت نے بجلی کے تین بلوں کی ادائیگی کا حکم دے دیا۔

اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ نے مقامی سیمنٹ فیکٹری کو اسلام آباد الیکٹرک سپلائی کمپنی (آئیسکو) کو باقی رقم 15 اپریل تک 33 فیصد بل ادا کرنے کا حکم دے کر ادا کرنے کا حکم دیا۔

اسلام آباد: اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ نے حکم امتناعی جاری کرتے ہوئے وزارت توانائی اور آئیسکو سے جواب طلب کرلیا۔

چیف جسٹس اطہر من اللہ نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ یہ وہ شرائط ہیں جن میں حکومت کو ہر ایک کی حوصلہ افزائی کرنی چاہئے ، حکومت نے بجلی کے بلوں کی ادائیگی کی تاریخ میں اضافہ کیا ہے ، ان حالات میں ان کو ملازمت دینا حکومت کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ ملازمتوں کو بچانے کے لئے ، عدالت اب ریاست کو مکمل مدد فراہم کرے گی۔
