Karachi: Robbers snatch pistol from DIG

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: A robbery attempt was made unsuccesful by DIG Saleem Akhtar in the jurisdiction of Darakhshan police station in Defence on Wednesday, Geo news reported.




According to sources, unknown armed men in a car tried to snatch cash from DIG Saleem Akhtar after he left the money exchangers office.
The suspects, however, snatched his official pistol when Akhtar showed resistance and fled from the scene.
Police has registered the case in Darakhshan police station.
