(eNews.pk) - Edinburgh: A Scottish company has been building roads using plastic bottles for the past few years, which it claims are 3 times more durable than traditional roads.




It is estimated that around 9 billion tonnes of plastic is currently available in various forms around the world, with 7 billion tonnes of plastic being either dumped into the oceans or made for waste disposal on Earth. Being pressurized into big pits (landfills).


Toby McCarthy, the founder of a company called "Mac Reber", is an engineer. Stating the reason for setting up the company, he said that at first he did not want to show his children plastic-filled seas;

ایڈنبرا: ایک سکاٹش کمپنی پچھلے کچھ عرصے سے پلاسٹک کی بوتلوں کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے سڑکیں بنا رہی ہے ، جس کا دعوی ہے کہ وہ روایتی سڑکوں سے 3 گنا زیادہ پائیدار ہے۔

ایک اندازے کے مطابق اس وقت پوری دنیا میں 9 بلین ٹن پلاسٹک مختلف شکلوں میں دستیاب ہے ، 7 ارب ٹن پلاسٹک یا تو سمندروں میں پھینک دیا گیا ہے یا زمین پر کچرے کو ضائع کرنے کے لئے بنایا گیا ہے۔ بڑے گڈڑوں (لینڈ فلز) میں دباؤ ڈالا جارہا ہے۔

"میک ریبر" نامی کمپنی کے بانی ٹوبی میکارتھی انجینئر ہیں۔ انہوں نے کمپنی کے قیام کی وجہ بتاتے ہوئے کہا کہ پہلے تو وہ اپنے بچوں کو پلاسٹک سے بھرے سمندر نہیں دکھانا چاہتے تھے۔
