CIA also start investigation into petraeus scandal

(eNews.pk) - WASHINGTON: The CIA said Thursday that it had opened an "exploratory" investigation into the conduct of former chief David Petraeus, who resigned last week over an extramarital affair.




"In the CIA we are constantly reviewing our performance. If there are lessons to be learned from this case we will use to improve," said a spokesman for the CIA said in a statement. "But let's not get ahead of ourselves, is an exploratory and does not presuppose any particular outcome." (REUTERS)

واشنگٹن.. . . .ایف بی آئی کے بعدامریکی سی آئی اے نے بھی سابق چیف ڈیوڈ پیٹریاس کے اسکینڈل کی تحقیقات شروع کر دیں۔واشنگٹن سے جاری سی آئی اے کی ترجمان نے اپنے ایک بیان میں کہا ہے کہ غیرازدواجی تعلقات رکھنے پرمستعفی ہونے والے سابق چیف ڈیوڈ پیٹریاس کے خلاف تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا گیاہے۔بیان کے مطابق سی آئی اے مستقل بنیادوں پر اپنی کارکردگی کا تنقیدی جائزہ لیتی رہتی ہے۔ اس کیس کاجائزہ لینے سے کارکردگی کومزیدبہتربنانے میں مدد ملے گی۔
