آئل کیک (کھلی) کی فروخت پر عائد 5 فیصد جی ایس ٹی واپس نہ لیے جانے پر مختلف شہروں میں آئل ملز مالکان کی جانب سے احتجاجاً کاٹن سیڈ (بنولے) کی خریداری معطل کرنے کے فیصلے کے بعد روئی، پھٹی اور کاٹن سیڈ کی قیمتوں میں ریکارڈ کمی جبکہ خوردنی تیل کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا رجحان ہے۔ ممبر پی سی جی اے احسان الحق نے بتایا کہ دوروز میں ملک کے مختلف شہروں میں روئی کی قیمتیں 300 روپے کی کمی سے پنجاب میں 6 ہزار روپے جبکہ سندھ میں 5 ہزار 900 روپے فی من، پھٹی کی قیمتیں 200 روپے فی 40 کلو گرام گھٹ کر 2850 سے 2900روپے فی 40 کلوگرام جبکہ کاٹن سیڈ کی قیمتیں 250 روپے کی کمی سے 1450 روپے فی من تک گر گئیں۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ اوپن مارکیٹ میں مندی کے باعث کراچی کاٹن ایسوسی ایشن میں بھی روئی کے اسپاٹ ریٹ 2 روز کے دوران 250 روپے کی کمی سے 2 سال کی کم ترین سطح 5900 روپے فی من تک گر گئے ہیں۔
