Exciting news for Pakistani cinema fans as we can see the country’s superhero film Project Ghazi online! The film is our nation’s first attempt to develop a superhero genre. And that’s not all! You don’t need to subscribe to a streaming service to enjoy Project Ghazi. In fact, the entire film is available to worldwide audiences on the popular video sharing platform YouTube!
The film, directed by Nadir Shah, is an admirable attempt by the Pakistani entertainment industry to face the challenging science fiction genre (science fiction).
Project Ghazi details
The story of the Ghazi project revolves around a team of scientists working with the Pakistani army to develop super soldiers. Yes, you heard it right, it is very likely that we will get a Desi Captain America (or Kaptaan Pakistan) origin story!
This is not the first premiere of the film, since Project Ghazi is scheduled to be released in 2017. However, the release of the film was canceled due to some technical difficulties. The film, distributed by IMGC, was re-released last year, but did not do well at the box office and only brought in 2 crore. The reason for the shortcoming of the superhero film can be lack of marketing and delays in the release of the film.
