Dr. Zafar Mirza, special assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, said that smart lockdown would only be successful if people strictly adopted SOPs against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The government-designed regulations and notices have been issued to protect the masses from the risks to their lives, said Dr. Zafar Mirza.
SAPM called for the masses to be made aware of the correct use of masks in the COVID-19 crisis. He added that it was also necessary to continue washing hands and wearing social distance after wearing the face masks.
He warned that the number of coronavirus cases and deaths is increasing steadily in the country. He continued that after the increase in test capacity, more cases will occur.
“We can take advantage of smart lockdown, but the government has issued almost twenty guidelines so far following the strict implementation of SOPs.” Said Dr. Mirza
SAPM Mirza emphasized wearing face masks in an emergency. He explained that ordinary people could wear dust masks because surgical or medical masks are necessary for health workers. Dr. Mirza emphasized that N-95 is a special mask that should not be used by ordinary people.

وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے صحت ، ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے کہا ہے کہ اسمارٹ لاک ڈاؤن اس وقت تک کامیاب نہیں ہوگا جب تک لوگ کوویڈ 19 وبائی بیماری کے خلاف سختی سے ایس او پیز کو نہیں اپنائے گے۔
ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا نے کہا کہ حکومت کی جانب سے وضع کردہ ضوابط اور مشورے عوام کو ان کی جان کو لاحق خطرات سے بچانے کے لئے جاری کیے گئے تھے
ایس اے پی ایم نے کورونا بحران کے دوران ماسک کے مناسب استعمال کے لئے عوام میں شعور اجاگر کرنے کی درخواست کی۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ چہرے کے ماسک پہننے کے بعد ہاتھ دھونے اور معاشرتی دوری کو بھی جاری رکھنا ضروری ہے۔
انہوں نے متنبہ کیا کہ ملک میں کورون وائرس کی وجہ سے واقعات اور اموات کی تعداد میں مسلسل اضافہ ہورہا ہے۔ انہوں نے جاری رکھا کہ جانچ کی صلاحیت میں اضافے کے بعد مزید کیسز سامنے آئیں گے۔
