پی ایس ایل 2021: پی سی بی لاہور میچز کراچی منتقل کرنے پر غور کر رہا ہے
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering holding the entire Pakistan Super League (PSL) season in Karachi. The second phase of the tournament, including the playoffs and finals, is actually to be played in Lahore, but the PCB is considering shifting the matches to Karachi.
According to the PCB, managing the biosafety bubble will make it safer and easier to hold matches in a city.
The PSL was suspended for a day due to Islamabad United’s Fawad Ahmed, who took a positive test for Coveid 19. After further tests, two more people, including two foreign players and a coaching staff member, tested positive for the virus. Individuals are placed in solitary confinement inside the biosafety bubble and the tournament resumes after a slight hiccup.
Sources revealed that the PCB is likely to reach a decision within the next 24 hours after discussing the matter with all concerned stakeholders.
The sixth edition of PSL is in full swing in which some interesting matches are being played at National Stadium Karachi. NSK’s pitch has proved to be friendly for batting and 12 matches have already been played at the venue, the teams batting first have yet to win a match. Blueprint has been easy in this PSL, win the toss and bowl first. The trend could continue if the PCB decides to hold all the matches in Karachi.
