Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani says that as per the recommendations, not all educational institutions should be opened simultaneously on September 15.
A meeting of the Steering Committee of the Education Department was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani in which the opening of educational institutions and SOPs issued were discussed.
Addressing the meeting, Saeed Ghani said that a meeting of all provincial education ministers would be held on September 7 under the chairmanship of the federal education minister.
He said the meeting would decide on the reopening of educational institutions, adding that the situation of corona virus outbreak in the country was much better at present.
The Sindh Education Minister said that SOPs have been finalized and some recommendations have also been made. According to the recommendations, not all educational institutions should be opened on September 15 at the same time.
He said that as per the recommendations, educational institutions should be opened in different stages and as per the recommendations of the committee, classes above class IX should be opened from September 15.
Saeed Ghani said that the sixth to eighth grades should be opened from September 21 and the pre-primary to fifth grades from September 28.
“We will recommend to the federal committee on behalf of Sindh that if any school opens before the said date, it will be declared illegal,” he said.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani also said that if a school asks for some time for SOPs, it can be given, we will make a final announcement after the NCOC meeting on September 7.
تمام تعلیمی اداروں کو ایک ساتھ 15 ستمبر سے نہ کھولا جائے، سعید غنی
وزیر تعلیم سندھ سعید غنی کا کہنا ہے کہ سفارشات کے مطابق 15 ستمبر کو تمام تعلیمی اداروں کو بیک وقت نہیں کھولنا چاہئے۔
وزیر تعلیم سندھ سعید غنی کی زیر صدارت کراچی میں محکمہ تعلیم کی اسٹیئرنگ کمیٹی کا اجلاس ہوا جس میں تعلیمی اداروں کے آغاز اور جاری کردہ ایس او پیز پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے سعید غنی نے کہا کہ تمام صوبائی وزیر تعلیم کا اجلاس 7 ستمبر کو وفاقی وزیر تعلیم کی زیرصدارت ہوگا۔
وزیر تعلیم سندھ نے کہا کہ ایس او پیز کو حتمی شکل دے دی گئی ہے اور کچھ سفارشات بھی کی گئیں ہیں۔ سفارشات کے مطابق ، تمام تعلیمی اداروں کو ایک ہی وقت میں 15 ستمبر کو نہیں کھولا جانا چاہئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ سفارشات کے مطابق تعلیمی اداروں کو مختلف مراحل میں کھولنا چاہئے اور کمیٹی کی سفارشات کے مطابق نویں جماعت سے اوپر کی کلاسیں 15 ستمبر سے کھولی جائیں۔
سعید غنی نے کہا کہ چھٹی سے آٹھویں جماعتیں 21 ستمبر سے اور پری پرائمری سے پانچویں جماعتیں 28 ستمبر سے کھولی جائیں۔
انہوں نے کہا ہم سندھ کی جانب سے وفاقی کمیٹی کو سفارش کریں گے کہ اگر کوئی اسکول مذکورہ تاریخ سے پہلے کھل گیا تو اسے غیر قانونی قرار دے دیا جائے گا۔
