پنجاب بھر میں گزشتہ 24 گھنٹوں کے دوران 1000 سے زائد سڑک حادثات
A spokesman for the Rescue 1122 service said that at least 15 people were killed in more than 1,000 road accidents across Punjab in the last 24 hours.
The spokesman said that at least 1,230 people were injured in 1,162 accidents in 37 districts of Punjab. He further said that out of the total injured, 724 persons were seriously injured who were shifted to different hospitals while 506 suffered minor injuries.
The spokesman said that 68% of road accidents are due to motorcycles. Further, the analysis shows that 518 drivers, 40 minor drivers, 149 pedestrians and 578 passengers were among the victims.
He further said that statistics show that 275 road accidents were reported in Lahore in which 279 people were injured.

ترجمان نے بتایا کہ پنجاب کے 37 اضلاع میں ہونے والے 1,162 حادثات میں کم از کم 1,230 افراد زخمی ہوئے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کل زخمیوں میں سے 724 افراد شدید زخمی ہوئے جنہیں مختلف ہسپتالوں میں منتقل کیا گیا جبکہ 506 کو معمولی زخم آئے۔
ترجمان نے کہا کہ 68 فیصد سڑک حادثات موٹر سائیکلوں کی وجہ سے ہوتے ہیں۔ مزید، تجزیہ سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ 518 ڈرائیور، 40 کم عمر ڈرائیور، 149 پیدل چلنے والے، اور 578 مسافر متاثرین میں شامل تھے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اعداد و شمار بتاتے ہیں کہ لاہور میں 275 سڑک حادثات رپورٹ ہوئے جن میں 279 افراد زخمی ہوئے۔
