ٹڈیوں کا حملہ: پاکستان متاثرہ کسانوں کو معاوضہ ادا کرے گا

پاکستان نے ان کاشتکاروں کو معاوضہ دینے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے جن کے کھیت پورے ملک میں ٹڈیوں کے حملوں میں تباہ ہوگئے ہیں۔

وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے آرمی چیف جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ کے ہمراہ نیشنل لوکسٹ کنٹرول سنٹر کا دورہ کرتے ہوئے ٹڈیوں کے حملے سے نمٹنے کے لئے نیشنل ایکشن پلان کے دوسرے مرحلے کی منظوری دی۔

لوکسیٹس ناول کورونا وائرس کے ساتھ ساتھ پاکستان کے لئے ایک اور بڑا چیلنج ثابت ہوا ، اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعظم نے ریمارکس دیئے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ “حکومت صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لئے ہر ممکن کوشش کرے گی۔” انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ملک کو اپنے نظام کو بہتر بنانے کی ضرورت ہے۔

وفاقی وزیر برائے قومی فوڈ سکیورٹی اینڈ ریسرچ فخر امام نے وزیر اعظم کو بتایا کہ ٹڈیوں کے خطرے سے نمٹنے کے لئے انہیں 26 ارب روپے کے فنڈز کی ضرورت ہے۔ رقم میں سے 14 ارب روپے مرکز فراہم کرے گا جبکہ صوبوں کے ذریعہ 12 ارب روپے۔

Pakistan has decided to compensate farmers whose fields have been destroyed in grasshopper attacks across the country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the second phase of the National Grasshopper Invasion Action Plan when he visited the National Locust Control Center with Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa.

In addition to the novel corona virus, locusts proved to be another major challenge for Pakistan, the Prime Minister noted during the chairing of a meeting.

“The government will make every effort to combat the situation,” he said, adding that the country needs to improve its systems.

Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Fakhar Imam told the Prime Minister that it would take 26 billion rupees to fight the locust threat. Rs 14 billion of this is provided by the center and Rs 12 billion by the provinces.
