حکومت ٹی ایل پی کو عسکری تنظیم تصور کرے گی، فواد چوہدری
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday vowed that the state would not tolerate the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and announced that the government will consider the party as a militant organization.
Addressing a press conference after the cabinet meeting, Fawad sternly said that the state had lost patience in dealing with the organization.
“Everyone has the right to take care. You can be against or in support of it. Saying that if you don’t follow my advice, I will run away with a gun on you, it can’t happen,” Fawad said. “If we start” dividing “the government’s ‘right to violence’ into private groups, the state will collapse,” he said.
“It was a clear decision that such activity would not be tolerated. We will not tolerate anyone challenging the state writ,” Fawad said of the cabinet’s decision to deal with the banned organization. ۔
The minister also warned that those who misunderstand the potential of the Pakistani state should know that Pakistan has defeated “major terrorist” organizations like Al Qaeda.
Comparing the TLP to a terrorist organization, Fawad said the TLP is unimportant because it does not have the weapons that others have.
The minister remarked that the state has “patience” in dealing with the state because it does not want the blood of the people to flow on the streets.
“Last time, six policemen were martyred and more than 700 were injured. Now, three policemen have been martyred in two days,” Fawad lamented.
The minister said a “clear policy decision” on the issue was taken at a meeting of Prime Minister Imran Khan attended by the army, intelligence agencies and relevant officials.
And the decision is that the TLP will be treated like a militant party. “We will not accept a political party with them,” Fawad said. He also urged other agencies to fulfill their responsibility in dealing with the organization.
In a short while, IG Punjab will hold a press conference and give a briefing on the operations. The Prime Minister directed the Home Minister to give minute by minute briefing to the nation. We have shown a lot of patience so far, “Fawad warned.
وزیر اطلاعات فواد چوہدری نے بدھ کے روز اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ ریاست کالعدم تحریک لبیک پاکستان (ٹی ایل پی) کو برداشت نہیں کرے گی اور اعلان کیا کہ حکومت اس جماعت کو عسکریت پسند تنظیم تصور کرے گی۔
کابینہ اجلاس کے بعد پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے فواد نے سخت الفاظ میں کہا کہ ریاست نے تنظیم سے نمٹنے میں صبر کا دامن ہاتھ سے کھو دیا ہے۔
فواد نے کہا کہ “ہر کسی کو خیال رکھنے کا حق ہے، آپ اس کے خلاف یا حمایت میں ہو سکتے ہیں۔ یہ کہہ کر کہ اگر آپ نے میرے مشورے پر عمل نہیں کیا تو میں آپ پر بندوق رکھ کر بھاگ جاؤں گا، ایسا نہیں ہو سکتا”۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر ہم حکومت کے ‘تشدد کے حق’ کو نجی گروپوں میں تقسیم کرنا شروع کر دیں تو ریاست منہدم ہو جائے گی۔
فواد نے کالعدم تنظیم سے نمٹنے کے کابینہ کے فیصلے کے بارے میں کہا، “یہ ایک واضح فیصلہ تھا کہ ایسی سرگرمی کو برداشت نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ ہم ریاستی رٹ کو چیلنج کرنے والے کسی کو بھی برداشت نہیں کریں گے۔” ۔
وزیر نے یہ بھی خبردار کیا کہ جو لوگ پاکستانی ریاست کی صلاحیت کو غلط سمجھتے ہیں وہ جان لیں کہ پاکستان نے القاعدہ جیسی “بڑی دہشت گرد” تنظیموں کو شکست دی ہے۔
ٹی ایل پی کا دہشت گرد تنظیم سے موازنہ کرتے ہوئے فواد نے کہا کہ ٹی ایل پی غیر اہم ہے کیونکہ اس کے پاس وہ ہتھیار نہیں ہیں جو دوسروں کے پاس ہیں۔
وزیر نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ ریاست کے ساتھ نمٹنے میں “صبر” ہے کیونکہ وہ نہیں چاہتی کہ عوام کا خون سڑکوں پر بہے۔
فواد نے افسوس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پچھلی بار 6 پولیس اہلکار شہید اور 700 سے زائد زخمی ہوئے، اب دو دن میں تین پولیس اہلکار شہید ہو چکے ہیں۔
وزیر نے کہا کہ اس معاملے پر “واضح پالیسی فیصلہ” وزیر اعظم عمران خان کی میٹنگ میں لیا گیا جس میں فوج، انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیوں اور متعلقہ حکام نے شرکت کی۔
اور فیصلہ یہ ہے کہ ٹی ایل پی کے ساتھ عسکریت پسند جماعت جیسا سلوک کیا جائے گا۔ فواد نے کہا کہ ہم ان کے ساتھ کسی سیاسی جماعت کو قبول نہیں کریں گے۔ انہوں نے دیگر اداروں پر بھی زور دیا کہ وہ تنظیم سے نمٹنے میں اپنی ذمہ داری پوری کریں۔
کچھ دیر میں آئی جی پنجاب پریس کانفرنس کریں گے اور آپریشنز پر بریفنگ دیں گے۔ وزیراعظم نے وزیر داخلہ کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ قوم کو منٹ بہ منٹ بریفنگ دیں۔ ہم نے اب تک بہت صبر کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے،” فواد نے خبردار کیا۔
