وفاقی وزیر منصوبہ بندی و ترقیات اسد عمر نے عوام سے اپیل کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کورونا وائرس وبائی بیماری اب بھی ایک خطرہ ہے اور اس کے ساتھ بھی ایسا سلوک کیا جانا چاہئے۔ ایس او پیز پر سختی سے عمل درآمد اور احتیاطی تدابیر کو یقینی بنائے گا کہ عید الاضحی نئے معاملات میں کوئی بڑی وجہ پیدا کیے بغیر گزر جائے۔

پشاور میں این سی او سی کے اجلاس کے بعد میڈیا کو بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے اسد عمر نے کہا کہ خیبر پختونخوا میں اس وائرس کا پھیلاؤ کم ہورہا ہے اور اس کے حصول میں صوبائی حکومت نے اہم کردار ادا کیا۔

وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ عیدالاضحی ایک اہم موقع ہے لیکن اپنی اور اپنے آس پاس کے لوگوں کی حفاظت کے لئے احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کرنا ہماری ذمہ داری ہے۔ انہوں نے عوام سے اپیل کی کہ وہ عید سادگی کے ساتھ منائیں اور قربانی کا انداز اس انداز سے انجام دیں جس کے نتیجے میں وائرس پھیل نہ سکے۔

اسد عمر نے مویشی منڈیوں میں معاشرتی فاصلہ برقرار رکھتے ہوئے لوگوں کو ماسک استعمال کرنے کا مشورہ دیا اور بھیڑ تفریحی مقامات سے پرہیز کرتے ہوئے احتیاط کے ساتھ عید الاضحی منائیں۔

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar appealed to the public and said that the coronavirus pandemic is still a threat and should be treated as such. Strict implementation of SOPs and precautions will ensure that Eid-ul-Adha is successful without causing a major surge in new cases.

Asad Umar informed the media after the NCOC meeting in Peshawar that the spread of the virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is declining and the provincial government is playing an important role.

The Federal Minister said that Eid-ul-Adha is an important opportunity, but it is our responsibility to take precautions to protect ourselves and the people around us. He urged the public to celebrate oath with simplicity and make sacrifices in a way that does not spread the virus.

Asad Umar advised people to use masks while maintaining social distance in the cattle markets and to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha with caution by avoiding crowded resorts.
