Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate, sent a recommendation to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs to convene the Senate meeting in the first week of May 2020.
The chairman of the Senate has asked the parliamentary ministry to recommend the President of Pakistan Dr. Send Arif Alvi to convene the meeting.
The last session of the Senate was on March 20, and most of its proceedings were adjourned for a coronavirus pandemic.

سینیٹ کے چیئرمین ، صادق سنجرانی نے وزارت پارلیمانی امور کو مئی 2020 کے پہلے ہفتے میں سینیٹ کا اجلاس بلانے کی سفارش بھجوائی۔
سینیٹ کے چیئرمین نے پارلیمانی وزارت سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ وہ صدر پاکستان ڈاکٹر عارف علوی کو اجلاس طلب کرنے کی سفارش کریں۔
سینیٹ کا آخری اجلاس 20 مارچ کو تھا ، اور اس کی زیادہ تر کاروائی کورونا وائرس سے وبائی بیماری کے لئے ملتوی کردی گئی تھی۔
