Army chief of staff Qamar Javed Bajwa praised the indomitable courage, dedication, and exemplary leadership of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, and Havaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, who made history with their blood against all adversity,

According to the military’s media wing, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said in his message related to the 21st Martyrdom Day of the Heroes of the Kargil War: “There is nothing more honorable than putting your life in defense of the motherland.”

The army chief said the nation prides itself on its brave sons for bravery and unwavering loyalty to defend the country, regardless of the cost.

It should be noted here that during the Kargil conflict on the control line in 1999, both the martyrs symbolized courage and courage and inflicted heavy losses on the Indian armed forces while defending the five strategic posts at 17,000 feet in Gultray.

They had been martyred on July 5, 1999, when the Indian army attacked their posts.
