During this time, at least 152 people were injured by brutal violence, including the firing of bullets, pellets, and tear gas cartridges by Indian troops and police officers at peaceful demonstrators.
Indian police and paramilitary personnel arrested 845 people, including leaders of hurriyat activists and youth, during 475 barrages and searches in various areas of the Indian-occupied cashmere.
