نیشنل پرائس مانیٹرنگ کمیٹی نے ملک میں مہنگائی کی صورتحال پر تبادلہ خیال کیا
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tareen chaired a meeting of the National Price Monitoring Committee (NPMC) in the Finance Division.
The Finance Secretary briefed the NPMC on the weekly SPI situation, which has increased by 1.38% during the week under review.
Evaluating the trend in commodity prices, the Finance Secretary said that the rise in global food and petroleum prices has affected global commodity prices. He further said that during the last week, prices of 07 essential items declined while prices of 15 items remained stable.
The Finance Secretary further updated the NPMC that the prices of wheat flour bags remained unchanged at Rs. 1100 per 20 kg due to active measures of Punjab Government and ICT administration.
The Finance Adviser appreciated the efforts of the representatives of the Punjab Government and the Islamabad Administration and expressed deep concern over the significant difference in the prices of wheat flour in Sindh compared to other provinces.
He directed the Sindh Chief Secretary to expedite the process of daily release of wheat at the price fixed by the government to ease the pressure on prices. The adviser reiterated the government’s firm commitment to ensure a smooth supply of wheat flour across the country at a price set by the government.

The Chief Secretary Punjab told NPMC that crushing of sugarcane in Punjab would start from November 15. The Finance Adviser and Revenue directed the Chief Secretary Sindh to ensure early commencement of sugarcane crushing to ensure a stable price of sugar across the country. The adviser further directed all provincial governments to finalize the price of sugarcane as soon as possible.
The Finance and Revenue Adviser directed the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics to compare the weekly SPIs by province. The decision was made to analyze the price difference in the SPI between the provinces in order to differentiate the efforts of the individual province.

سیکرٹری خزانہ نے این پی ایم سی کو ہفتہ وار ایس پی آئی کی صورتحال کے بارے میں بتایا، جس میں زیر جائزہ ہفتے کے دوران 1.38 فیصد اضافہ کیا گیا ہے۔
اشیائے ضروریہ کی قیمتوں کے رجحان کا جائزہ لیتے ہوئے سیکرٹری خزانہ نے بتایا کہ عالمی سطح پر غذائی اجناس اور پٹرولیم کی قیمتوں میں اضافے سے دنیا بھر میں اشیائے ضروریہ کی قیمتیں متاثر ہوئی ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ گزشتہ ہفتے کے دوران 07 اشیائے ضروریہ کی قیمتوں میں کمی جبکہ 15 اشیاء کی قیمتیں مستحکم رہیں۔
سیکرٹری خزانہ نے این پی ایم سی کو مزید اپ ڈیٹ کیا کہ گندم کے آٹے کے تھیلوں کی قیمتیں 10 روپے پر برقرار ہیں۔ پنجاب حکومت اور آئی سی ٹی انتظامیہ کے فعال اقدامات کی وجہ سے 1100 فی 20 کلو گرام۔
مشیر خزانہ نے پنجاب حکومت اور اسلام آباد انتظامیہ کے نمائندوں کی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور دیگر صوبوں کے مقابلے صوبہ سندھ میں گندم کے آٹے کی قیمتوں میں نمایاں فرق پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کیا۔
انہوں نے سندھ کے صوبائی چیف سیکریٹری کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ قیمتوں پر دباؤ کو کم کرنے کے لیے حکومت کی جانب سے مقرر کردہ قیمت پر گندم کی روزانہ ریلیز کے عمل کو تیز کریں۔ مشیر نے حکومت کی طرف سے مقرر کردہ قیمت پر ملک بھر میں گندم کے آٹے کی ہموار فراہمی کو یقینی بنانے کے حکومت کے پختہ عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔
بنیادی اشیاء کی قیمتوں کے رجحان کا جائزہ لیتے ہوئے، وزیر اعظم کے مشیر برائے خزانہ اور محصول شوکت ترین نے کہا کہ حکومت عالمی سطح پر بنیادی اشیائے خوردونوش کی قیمتوں پر بڑھتے ہوئے دباؤ کو جذب کرنے کے لیے انتظامی، پالیسی اور ریلیف کے متعدد اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔
چیف سیکرٹری پنجاب نے این پی ایم سی کو بتایا کہ پنجاب میں گنے کی کرشنگ 15 نومبر سے شروع ہو جائے گی۔ مشیر خزانہ اور ریونیو نے چیف سیکریٹری سندھ کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ گنے کی کرشنگ جلد از جلد شروع کرنے کو یقینی بنائیں تاکہ ملک بھر میں چینی کی مستحکم قیمت کو یقینی بنایا جاسکے۔ مشیر نے مزید تمام صوبائی حکومتوں کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ گنے کی قیمت کو جلد از جلد حتمی شکل دیں۔
مشیر خزانہ اور محصولات نے پاکستان بیورو آف شماریات کو ہفتہ وار ایس پی آئی کا صوبہ وار موازنہ کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ یہ فیصلہ صوبوں کے درمیان ایس پی آئی میں قیمتوں کے فرق کا تجزیہ کرنے کے لیے کیا گیا ہے تاکہ انفرادی صوبے کی کوششوں میں فرق کیا جا سکے۔
چیف سیکرٹری بلوچستان نے یو ایس سی کے آؤٹ لیٹس کو بڑھانے اور صوبے میں کولڈ سٹوریج کی سہولیات کے قیام کی ضرورت پر بھی روشنی ڈالی۔ وزیر اعظم کے مشیر برائے خزانہ اور محصولات نے متعلقہ وزارتوں کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ اس معاملے کو تیز کرنے کے لیے بلوچستان حکومت کے ساتھ رابطہ کریں۔
وزیر مملکت برائے اطلاعات نے سستا بازاروں کی تعداد میں اضافے کی ضرورت پر روشنی ڈالی، اس بات کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے کہ اس کا فائدہ زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگوں تک پہنچے، اور جناب شوکت ترین نے صوبائی حکومتوں کو اس کے لیے حکمت عملی وضع کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔
اپنے اختتامی کلمات میں شوکت ترین نے کہا کہ حکومت ملک بھر میں اشیائے ضروریہ کی ہموار فراہمی کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے تمام ممکنہ اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔
