حکومت ایک بار پھر ملک بھر میں پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا منصوبہ بنا رہی ہے
The recent surge in global petroleum product prices has sent shockwaves through economies around the world. On the same occasion, Pakistan’s Petroleum Division also stunned the people by announcing a huge increase in the prices of petroleum products two weeks ago. However, the story of rising prices is not over as the government is once again planning to raise the prices of petroleum products across the country.
A reliable source said that the price is expected to increase up to Rs 10. Rs 8 per liter, while the price of high speed diesel is likely to increase by Rs 2. 9.5 per liter. The sources further said that the prices of kerosene and light diesel are likely to increase by Rs2.50. 7 per liter and Rs. 6.5 per liter respectively.
The government has blamed the recent turmoil in the prices of petroleum products and the depreciation of the local currency for the rise in prices and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will present a complete summary of the petroleum products. Price recommendations to the Ministry of Finance on October 30.
The media speculates that the government is bearing the brunt of rising petrol prices by maintaining a low petroleum levy for the convenience of the people. However, the recent rise in petrol prices has upset the public as its effects are far-reaching. Rising transportation and logistics costs have made many items more expensive, and even travel has become more expensive for the average person.
International reports predict that the rise in prices will continue for some time, which guarantees public vigilance in the future.
عالمی سطح پر پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں حالیہ ہنگامہ آرائی نے دنیا بھر کی تمام معیشتوں میں صدمے کی لہریں بھیجی ہیں۔ اسی مناسبت سے پاکستان کے پیٹرولیم ڈویژن نے بھی دو ہفتے قبل پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں زبردست اضافے کا اعلان کرکے عوام کو دنگ کردیا۔ تاہم، قیمتوں میں اضافے کی کہانی ابھی ختم نہیں ہوئی کیونکہ حکومت ایک بار پھر ملک بھر میں پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا منصوبہ بنا رہی ہے۔
ایک معتبر ذرائع نے بتایا کہ قیمت میں 10 روپے تک اضافہ متوقع ہے۔ 8 روپے فی لیٹر، جب کہ ہائی اسپیڈ ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 2 روپے اضافے کا امکان ہے۔ 9.5 فی لیٹر۔ ذرائع نے مزید کہا کہ مٹی کے تیل اور لائٹ ڈیزل ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں 2 روپے 50 پیسے اضافے کا امکان ہے۔ 7 فی لیٹر اور روپے۔ بالترتیب 6.5 فی لیٹر۔
حکومت نے مبینہ طور پر پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں حالیہ گڑبڑ اور مقامی کرنسی کی قدر میں کمی کو قیمتوں میں آنے والے اضافے کی وجہ قرار دیا ہے اور آئل اینڈ گیس ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (اوگرا) پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی مکمل سمری پیش کرے گی۔ 30 اکتوبر کو وزارت خزانہ کو قیمت کی سفارشات۔
میڈیا کا قیاس ہے کہ حکومت پٹرول کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتوں کا خمیازہ عوام کی سہولت کے لیے کم پیٹرولیم لیوی برقرار رکھ کر برداشت کر رہی ہے۔ تاہم پٹرول کی قیمتوں میں حالیہ اضافے نے عوام کو پریشان کر دیا ہے کیونکہ اس کے اثرات دور رس ہیں۔ نقل و حمل اور لاجسٹکس کے بڑھتے ہوئے اخراجات کی وجہ سے کئی اشیاء مہنگی ہو گئی ہیں، یہاں تک کہ عام آدمی کے لیے سفر کرنا بھی بہت مہنگا ہو گیا ہے۔
بین الاقوامی رپورٹس نے پیش گوئی کی ہے کہ قیمتوں میں یہ اضافہ کچھ عرصے تک جاری رہے گا، جو کہ آنے والے وقتوں میں عوام کی جانب سے ہوشیاری کی ضمانت دیتا ہے۔
