Toll reaches 8 in Bannu police station attack

(eNews.pk) - Bannu: Monday morning militants attacked a police station on the outskirts of Bannu city where at least eight people, including three policemen were killed, Geo news.




According to police sources, the incident took place in the police station Kakki located at a distance of 14 kilometers from the city of Bannu.
The militants laid siege to the police station with hand grenades and opened fire that killed five people had left the mosque after the prayer of the offer. Three policemen were also wounded in the firefight that later succumbed to his injuries after the death toll stands at eight.
Police said four suicide bombers were killed in the counterattack, while finding another is running.
Sources said the contingent of police force have gone Kakki of Bannu city.

بنوں…بنوں میں تھانہ ککی پر حملے میں زخمی ہونے والے تین اہلکار دم توڑ گئے جس کے بعد شدت پسندوں کے حملے میں جاں بحق افراد کی تعداد 8 ہوگئی،پولیس کے مطابق شدت پسندوں نے تھانا ککی پردستی بموں سے حملہ کیا اورفائرنگ کی،فائرنگ سے تھانے کے قریب واقع مسجدسے نکلنے والے 5 بھی نمازی جاں بحق ہوگئے جبکہ متعدد پولیس اہلکار زخمی ہوئے جس میں سے تین پولیس اہلکار دم توڑ گئے، جس کے بعد جاں بحق ہونے والوں کی تعداد8ہوگئی ہے، پولیس کے مطابقجوابی کارروائی میں 4 خود کش حملہ آور بھی ہلاک جبکہ ایک کی تلاش جاری ہے۔
