ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کی تقرری میں تکنیکی مسائل تھے: وزیراعظم
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that “technical issues” in the appointment of the Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) will be resolved soon.
Sources said that the Prime Minister made the statement in a meeting with the PTI’s parliamentary committee.
Prime Minister Imran Khan took the members of the committee into confidence on the current situation regarding the appointment of DG ISI and said that “no one has a better relationship with the army than me”.
He later clarified that there was no misunderstanding between the government and the military leadership.
The Prime Minister had convened an emergency meeting of the ruling party’s parliamentary group at the Parliament House to discuss important national issues.
Sources said that several members of PTI protested against the sudden convening of the meeting by PTI Chief Whip Malik Amir Dogar.
He allegedly questioned why an emergency meeting was called at the last minute, saying it would take time to reach Islamabad.
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا ہے کہ انٹر سروسز انٹیلی جنس (آئی ایس آئی) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل کی تقرری میں “تکنیکی مسائل” جلد حل ہو جائیں گے۔
اس معاملے سے متعلق ذرائع نے بتایا کہ وزیر اعظم نے یہ بیان پی ٹی آئی کی پارلیمانی کمیٹی کے ساتھ ایک اجلاس میں دیا۔
وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے ڈی جی آئی ایس آئی کی تقرری سے متعلق موجودہ صورتحال پر کمیٹی کے اراکین کو اعتماد میں لیا اور کہا کہ ’’ فوج کے ساتھ مجھ سے بہتر تعلقات کسی کے نہیں ‘‘۔
اس کے بعد انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ حکومت اور عسکری قیادت کے درمیان کوئی غلط فہمی نہیں ہے۔
وزیراعظم نے اہم قومی امور پر تبادلہ خیال کے لیے حکمران جماعت کے پارلیمانی گروپ کا ہنگامی اجلاس پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس میں طلب کیا تھا۔
ذرائع نے بتایا کہ پی ٹی آئی کے کئی ارکان نے پی ٹی آئی کے چیف وہپ ملک عامر ڈوگر کی جانب سے اچانک اجلاس بلانے پر احتجاج کیا۔
انہوں نے مبینہ طور پر سوال کیا کہ آخری منٹ میں ہنگامی اجلاس کیوں بلایا گیا ، یہ کہتے ہوئے کہ اسلام آباد پہنچنے میں وقت لگے گا۔
