Taliban confused in its decisions, Mian Iftikhar

(eNews.pk) - PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Mian Iftikhar Hussain said the Awami National Party (ANP) had not asked Taliban to lay down their weapons and are not required to renounce violence, Geo news.




Commenting on the statement of TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud, Mian Iftikhar accept the offer of dialogue by Hakimullah is a positive step. He said that the success of the negotiations is important renounce violence.
KPK minister said the offer made by the ANP chief Asfandyar Wali the Taliban was a serious effort, basic and logical, however, it is important to have progress in this pickle for peace.
He dismissed the substantive negotiations with the Taliban, saying there is no need for it.
Mian Iftikhar said the Taliban must form a powerful committee for talks with the government.
