تحریک لبیک کیس میں ریاست کو پیچھے ہٹنا پڑا، فواد چوہدری
Information Minister Fawad Hussain Chaudhry has said that the job of the state is to ensure the rule of law but in the TLP case the state had to back down.
Addressing a function organized by Pakistan Institute of Peace Studies at a private hotel, did Fawad Hussain Chaudhry say that the government and the state are not fully prepared to fight extremism, the state’s job is to ensure the rule of law but In the TLP case, the state had to back down.
He said that when the control of the state is over, the groups take the law into their own hands. If the government writ is over, then the extremists will prevail.
The Information Minister said that we have no threat from America, India, Europe, the biggest threat is from ourselves, the cause of extremism is not madrassas but schools and colleges from where extremism originated, extremism in schools, colleges. Teachers were recruited and the local administrative system was destroyed.
وزیر اطلاعات فواد حسین چوہدری نے کہا ہے کہ ریاست کا کام قانون کی حکمرانی کو یقینی بنانا ہے لیکن ٹی ایل پی کیس میں ریاست کو پیچھے ہٹنا پڑا۔
نجی ہوٹل میں پاکستان انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف پیس سٹڈیز کے زیر اہتمام تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا فواد حسین چوہدری نے کہا کہ حکومت اور ریاست انتہا پسندی سے لڑنے کے لیے پوری طرح تیار نہیں، ریاست کا کام قانون کی حکمرانی کو یقینی بنانا ہے لیکن ٹی ایل پی کیس میں ریاست کو پیچھے ہٹنا پڑا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جب ریاست کا کنٹرول ختم ہو جاتا ہے تو گروہ قانون کو اپنے ہاتھ میں لے لیتے ہیں۔ حکومتی رٹ ختم ہوئی تو انتہا پسند غالب آجائیں گے۔
وزیراطلاعات کا کہنا تھا کہ ہمیں امریکا، بھارت، یورپ سے کوئی خطرہ نہیں، سب سے بڑا خطرہ اپنی ذات سے ہے، انتہا پسندی کی وجہ مدارس نہیں بلکہ اسکول اور کالج ہیں جہاں سے انتہا پسندی نے جنم لیا، اسکولوں، کالجوں میں انتہا پسندی ہے۔ اساتذہ بھرتی کیے گئے اور مقامی انتظامی نظام کو تباہ کر دیا گیا۔
