SC to dispense justice without fear: CJ

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, said Wednesday that the apex court would continue to fulfill their responsibilities without fear or favor.




Addressing an Iftar, dinner hosted by the Bar of the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice said that the court can not be prevented from administering justice through efforts to try individuals or institutions weak.
"The Supreme Court will continue to pass resolutions, in accordance with the Constitution, whether the sky is falling" he said.
The CJ said he would ensure that other institutions can also work within the constitutional parameters.

اسلام آباد…چيف جسٹس آف پاکستان ،جسٹس افتخار محمد چوہدري نے کہا ہے کہ سپريم کورٹ نتائج سے بے پرواہ ہوکر اپني ذمہ داري بلاخوف و حمايت جاري رکھے گي.افراد اور اداروں کو کمزور ظاہر کرکے عدالتوں کو انصاف دينے سے روکا نہيں جاسکتا.سپريم کورٹ بار ايسوسي ايشن کي جانب سے منعقدہ افطار ڈنر سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا چيف جسٹس آف پاکستان نے مزيد کہا کہسپريم کورٹ آئين کے مطابق فيصلے کرتي رہے گي،خواہ آسمان ہي کيوں نہ گرپڑے.انھوں نے کہا کہ يہ يقيني بنايا جائے کہ ديگر ادارے بھي آئين کے مطابق کام کرينگے.جسٹس افتخار چوہدري نے کہا کہ عدليہ رياست کا اہم ستون ہے،آئين کے تحت فرائض ادا کررہي ہے.سپريم کورٹ آئين اور قانون سے رہنمائي ليتي ہے.اس موقع پر سپريم کورٹ کے سربراہ ياسين آزاد ايڈووکيٹ سميت ديگر وکلاء رہنماؤں نے بھي خطاب کيا.
