SC hears NRO implementation case

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court is hearing the case in which execution NRO had directed Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to carry out your request in writing a letter to Swiss authorities to reopen corruption cases against Asif Ali Zradari President and present compliance report on July 25.




A five-member bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa Justice Ejaz Afzal and composed, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed Muhammad Athar Saeed and Justice, is hearing the case.
NAB Prosecutor General KK Agha told the court about the progress made in Adnan Khwaja, Malik Qayum and Ahmed Sheikh Riaz cases.
The NAB said the bank officical the investigation against the rule out of appointment of Adnan Khwaja as head OGDCL has been completed and the matter is now under trial and said the NAB Board shall decide the issue in the next 2-3 weeks.

اسلام آباد… سپريم کورٹ ميں اين آر او عمل درآمد کيس کي سماعت جاري ہے اور جسٹس آصف کھوسہ کي سربراہي ميں 5 رکني بنچ سماعت کررہا ہے، بينچ کے ديگر اراکين ميں بنچ ميں جسٹس اعجاز افضل ، جسٹس امير ہاني مسلم، جسٹس اعجاز چودھري اور جسٹس عظمت سعيد شامل ہيں. کمرہ عدالت ميں اٹارني جنرل اور پراسيکيوٹرجنرل نيب بھي موجود ہيں جبکہ عدالت کے باہر پوليس کي بھاري نفري تعينات ہے. سماعت کي ابتداء ميں عدالت نے استفسار کيا کہ عدنان خواجہ، ملک قيوم اور حمد رياض شيخ کے تقرر کے حوالے سے کيا پيش رفت ہوئي جس پر نيب پراسيکيوٹر جنرل نے عدنان خواجہ کے بطور سربراہ او جي ڈي سي ايل تقرر کے خلاف رپورٹ پيش کردي جس ميں کہا گيا کہ اس حوالے سے تحقيقات مکمل ہو چکي ہيں اور عدنان خواجہ کا معامہ پراسيکوشن ميں ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ نيب بورڈ 2يا تين ہفتوں ميں مزيد فيصلہ کرے گا. اس کے علاوہ نيب پراسيکيوٹر جنرل نے عدالت کو بتايا کہ احمد رياض شيخ تقرر کيس ميں تحقيقات مکمل ہوگئي ہيں اور اس ميں 3 افراد کيخلاف ريفرنس دائر کرنيکا فيصلہ کيا گيا ہے. انہوں نے عدالت کو بتايا کہ ريفرنسز آئندہ 2 سے 3 ہفتوں ميں دائر کيے جائينگے.
