Religious parties rally against anti-islam film

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Thousands of people thronged the streets of the biggest city of Karachi on Saturday in the latest protest against a US-made anti-Islam film posted on the Internet and sacrilegious cartoons published in a French magazine Saturday, Geo news.




The protesters carried green and white ribbons as they marched through the city's main road, MA Jinnah, while some burned the American flag.
People from different areas with green flags gathered at the intersection Numaish joined the rally from where they marched to the center of Tibet under the leadership of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
Religious parties participating in the rally included Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP), Jamaat-e-Sunnat Ahle, Pakistan Sunni Tahrik (PST), Sunni Ittehad Council, Sunni Rehbar Council and other organizations ANI Sunnis.

کراچی… تحفظ ناموس رسالت کے سلسلے میں مختلف اہلسنت جماعتوں کی جانب سے ریلی نکالی جارہی ہے۔ کراچی میں تحفظ ناموس رسالت کے سلسلے میں منعقد ہونے والی ریلی میں شرکت کے لئے شہر بھر کے مختلف علاقوں سے لوگ بڑی تعداد میں نمائش چورنگی پہنچ رہے ہیں۔ریلی کے شرکاء پرچم ہاتھ میں اٹھائے ہوئے ہیں۔ریلی میں جے یو پی، جماعت اہلسنت، سنی تحریک، سنی اتحاد کونسل، سنی رہبر کونسل، اے این آئی سمیت دیگر اہلسنت تنظیمیں موجود ہیں جبکہ اس کی قیادت مفتی منیب الرحمن سمیت دیگر علمائے کرام کر رہے ہیں۔ ریلی نمائش چورنگی سے شروع ہوکر تبت سینٹر تک جائے واضح رہے کہ محکمہ داخلہ سندھ نے شہر میں ہر قسم کے جلسے، جلوس، ریلیوں اور اسلحے کی نمائش پر پابندی عائد کی ہوئی ہے تاہم سنی جماعتوں کے رہنماوٴں کی جانب سے امن و امان کی یقین دہانی کے بعد نمائش سے تبت سینٹر تک ریلی نکالے کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔
