A 55-year-old police officer died in Karachi on Tuesday of a coronavirus, bringing the death toll of the Sindh police to two.
According to the police, the policeman was isolated at home on the advice of doctors. He was taken to the hospital and taken to the intensive care unit Tuesday morning when his condition worsened.
Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) leader Sarfraz Nawaz Shaikh was pronounced dead on Tuesday after suffering from symptoms of the coronavirus on April 25.
It should be noted that more than 50 police officers in Karachi have so far tested positive for the novel corona virus.
While asking Murtaza Wahab to act respectfully when dealing with law enforcement personnel, Murtaza said: “45 officers and police have been infected with the virus, while four Rangers employees have also tested positive.

تفصیلات کے مطابق پولیس نے بتایا کہ پولیس اہلکاروں کو ڈاکٹروں کے مشورے پر گھر میں الگ تھلگ کردیا گیا تھا۔ منگل کی صبح انہیں اسپتال لایا گیا تھا اور اس کی حالت مزید خراب ہونے پر اسے انتہائی نگہداشت میں منتقل کیا گیا تھا۔
اینٹی وہیکل لفٹنگ سیل (اے وی ایل سی) کے سربراہ سرفراز نواز شیخ کو 25 اپریل کو کورونا وائرس کی علامات سے علالت کے بعد منگل کو مردہ قرار دے دیا گیا تھا۔
واضح رہے کہ اب تک 50 سے زائد پولیس اہلکاروں نے کراچی میں ناول کوروناوائرس کے لئے مثبت تجربہ کیا ہے۔
پولیس کے 45 افسران اور ممبران نے اس وائرس کا شکار ہوگئے ہیں جبکہ رینجرز کے چار اہلکاروں نے بھی اس کا مثبت تجربہ کیا ہے۔
