Peshawar: Blast on Abdara Road 2 killed 19 injured

(eNews.pk) - PESHAWAR: Two people died and nineteen were wounded in a suicide attack that took place near the office of the refugee agency of the UN in Peshawar Thursday, Geo news.




According to police, a U.S. Consulate vehicle was targeted by a suicide car bomb in Abdara Road in University City that killed two people and wounded 19 others, including two foreigners, two women and two children.
Police have recovered a half-burned U.S. passport a car badly damaged in the blast, officials said.
"The car was a white car U.S. consulate," said an intelligence official. Another official said the suicide bomber plowed his car into the U.S. car Consulate.

پشاور… پشاور کے علاقے آبدرہ روڈ پر دھماکے کے نتیجے میں 2افراد ہلاک اور 5زخمی ہو گئے۔ زخمیوں میں غیر ملکی بھی شامل ہیں۔ ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق بظاہر ایسا لگتا ہے کہ دھماک خیز مواد ایک گاڑی میں رکھا گیا تھا جو دھماکے سے پھٹ گیا۔ دھماکے کی جگہ پر 5فٹ گہرا گڑھا پڑ گیا۔ دھماکے کی آواز انتہائی زور دار تھی جو شہر کے متعدد علاقوں میں سنی گئی ۔جائے وقوع پر پولیس اور ریسکیو ٹیمیں پہنچ گئی ہیں جو مزید تفتیش کررہی ہے۔دوسری طرف پشاورپولیس کے سربراہ امتیاز الطاف نے کہا ہے کہ یونی ورسٹی ٹاوٴن میں ہونے والا دھماکا خودکش لگتا ہے، جس میں 100 سے 110 کلوگرام دھماکا خیز مواد استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔ جائے وقوع پر میڈیا سے گفتگو میں امتیاز الطاف نے کہا کہ دھماکے میں دو افراد ہلاک اور 19 زخمی ہوئے ۔
