During the ongoing corona virus outbreak across the country, dozens of people have started visiting livestock markets in their areas to buy sacrificial animals for Eid-ul-Azha, celebrated in Pakistan on August 1 of this year.

The sacrificial animals are beautifully decorated with colorful laces and other things and attract large numbers of people, including children, to the markets. This time, however, local administrations recommended that buyers adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to avoid coronavirus infection.

Animal sellers and buyers also take a soothing shower to help their animals relax in this scorching heat.

On the other hand, people have also sharpened their knives to follow the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) by sacrificing their animals for Allah Almighty.
