The Foreign Office said Tuesday that Pakistan strongly condemned the extrajudicial killing of 13 Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ & K) in a single day, which increased tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi. According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan was deeply concerned about undiminished extrajudicial killings of young people from Kashmir during counterfeit encounters and so-called “anti-infiltration” operations. It says “while the international community is fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, India is busy intensifying the brutalization of the Kashmiri people,” and adds that the Kashmiri assassination volumes on the ongoing crimes of the Indian Government speaks against humanity.
The Foreign Office said: “To hide these crimes, the Indian authorities use the often repeated, unfounded accusations of” training “and” infiltration “of Kashmiri resistance fighters.” “India needs to recognize that its malicious propaganda has no credibility with the international community. The RSS-BJP combine stands in front of the world for its illegal and inhumane acts and the extremist “Hindutva” agenda. ” The Foreign Office added: “India must recognize that neither its brutalization will break the will of the Kashmiri people nor its anti-Pakistani propaganda to distract attention from India’s state terrorism and immense violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.”
“The Kashmiris will never give up their inalienable right to self-determination, as enshrined in the United Nations Security Council resolutions, and the leadership and people of Pakistan will never shy away from their commitment to fully support the Kashmiris for this purpose.” The State Department also urged the international community to take immediate action to prevent India from committing serious crimes against the Kashmiri people and to hold them accountable under international law and relevant human rights conventions.
